Dimethyl Sebacate (DMS), a colorless oil and transparent liquid, is compatible with benzyl cellulose, cellulose aclate, cellulose acetobutyract, cellulose acetopropionate, chlorinated rubber, ethyl cellulose, polystyrene, polyvinyl butyral and vinyl chloride-vinyl, acetate copolymers. This product can be used as a plasticizer, softening agent and solvent for cellulosic resin, polyethylene resin and synthestic rubber.. Especialyy, ad a major raw material, it is widely used to produce Light Stabicizers such as UV-770, UV-765 and UV-123.
