Dioctyl Terephthalate(DOTP) is an oil colorless and transparen liquid with a good electrical function, cold resistance and low volatility. Its plasticizing rate is higher than DOP. It is very suitable to be used as a plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride resin, which can be made into products required high snsulation, resistance to extraction,heat-proof as well as good softness. It is widely used in the production of cable materials of 70 due to its outstanding pyroelectricity property. The plastipaste with it can be reduced its viscosity and be prolonged its preserving life.
